What to do when your family foundation crumbles beneath you like an earthquake—quickly, destructively, without warning.
There is always that one person in your life who can and will always ignite the strongest feelings of relief, attraction, warmth, and happiness in a single moment, word, or action. No matter what may have occurred in the past or any negativity which may have presented over your time together, it is impossible to feel anything but enamored once again.
Progress shot for end of Phase 1 in P90X2.
Compare it with the lower photo from April 2011!
It seems my sleeping problems have been obliterated by p90x2 yoga tonight! Hello pillow, I’ve missed you so.
Miss the days when my biggest concern was leveling up Pokemon.

On being thankful.
It’s amazing how one piece of news can transform your day and alter your way of thinking.
One of my best friend’s 14 year old sister having failing kidneys and needing a transplant. Best friend getting in a car accident (although not receiving any injuries).
We take everything for granted. I think of how I often sigh as I get ready to roll out of bed and start my day. When I have to close the garage door when I take my bike out. Starting a workout I don’t particularly enjoy at the moment.
These are the activities I should be grateful for—I have the chance to do these things and these are my biggest concerns the whole day! I am healthy and sustaining life, and I am able to use all of my body parts and do these workouts. I am fully functioning and can walk back in the garage, close the door, and walk out the back door to my bike. I am able to get out of bed in the morning.
While we are built correctly in a way that dismisses streaming negative thoughts and non-essential worries (I mean that’s a symptom of depression, for sure), we all too often forget to think about how lucky we are to be alive, breathing, in America with our family and friends with a bright future of education and development ahead of us.
It takes one moment to reignite these thoughts. And I experienced it today.
Fell asleep at 7 pm and woke up at midnight…missed my workout so I decided to do a two hour P90X2 session. Dedication pays off.
uhhhhhhhhh
